The Castle Gardens are set in seven acres within the 17th century outer defensive walls and have spectacular views of Lismore Castle. The west wing of the Castle has been converted into a contemporary Art Gallery. Although the Castle, which is now the Irish residence of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, is not open to the public, the beautiful Castle Gardens can be visited.

One of the most visited sites in Ireland, this is a spectacular group of medieval buildings set on an outcrop of limestone in the Golden Vale including a 12th Century Round Tower, High Cross, Romanesque Chapel, 13th Century Gothic Cathedral, 15th Century Castle and restored Hall of Vicars Choral. Includes an audio-visual show and exhibition. Access for visitors with disabilities by prior arrangement.
Mitchelstown Cave

Is one of the most spectacular caves in Europe, Mitchelstown Cave is located midway between Cahir and Mitchelstown just off the N8. The guided tour takes you through almost half a mile of this world famous cave, which includes three massive caverns. The formations, shapes, colour and history make for an enthralling visit at any time. Access to the cave is easy, along well lit passageways
