Ballymacarbry Montessori School was established in 2010 by Miriam Hickey and Clodagh Burke to provide a preschool service based on the Montessori Method, for the children of the local community.
Miriam and Clodagh have more than twenty years experience between them teaching preschool children and have run successful Montessori services in Clonmel and Dublin. They are both fully qualified Montessori teachers and believe strongly in the philosophy of Montessori. Miriam and Clodagh are fully qualified first aiders, and have completed all the Child Protection training as specified by the HSE.
ECCE Scheme – Free Preschool places
Ballymacarbry Montessori School is registered for the ECCE preschool scheme as run by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs.
